This architectural sletted bench was designed by Martin Visser for 'Het Stedelijk Museum' in Amsterdam in 1965. This bench was in collection of t' Spectrum from 1965 - 1974.
The one we offer has a beautiful patina. This bench is in a stunning condition has just normal signs of use.
When t 'Spectrum decided to continue the company on a larger scale in the early 1950s, designer Martin Visser was recruited. t'Spectrum got to know Martin Visser as chief purchaser of the furniture department of the Bijenkorf in Amsterdam. From 1954 to 1974, Martin Visser remained the leaddesigner for the company and his collection of designs became the epitome of the company.
