Beautiful anthroposophic handmade wooden wardrobe. Handmade in the 1940s, this wardrobe is most likely made of a mix of beech and oak. As can be seen in the pictures, the wardrobe clearly has the familiar organic anthroposophic design that part of Rudolf Steiner's philosophy is about. The cabinet is in insane condition with minimal signs of use befitting its age. Originally the cabinet was made for the purpose of storing linen but today the cabinet can be used for anything, including still storing clothes. The cabinet has ample shelf space and a section with a rod for hanging clothes. Equipped with the corresponding key. Anthroposophists also believe that color has a special meaning that can unlock the hidden meaning of images, words or shapes. For this reason, the inside of the cabinet was once painted red. The color has since faded nicely with the wood and gives a beautiful warm glow. View photos.
