This architectural sletted bench was designed by Martin Visser for 'Het Stedelijk Museum' in Amsterdam in 1965. This bench was in collection of t' Spectrum from 1965 - 1974. The one we offer has a extraodinary great patina. Because of age and sunlight the wengé turned a bit lighter than normal and shows it stunning woodgrain. This bench is in a stunning condition and has just normal signs of use. We can sincerely say that there is no bench on the market like this one. When t 'Spectrum decided to continue the company on a larger scale in the early 1950s, designer Martin Visser was recruited. t'Spectrum got to know Martin Visser as chief purchaser of the furniture department of the Bijenkorf in Amsterdam. From 1954 to 1974, Martin Visser remained the leaddesigner for the company and his collection of designs became the epitome of the company.
