The Repose chair we offer is one with a original grey/offwhite frame and we reupholsterd it with a black wool Gabriel fabric. This chair is in a good condition but its frame has som signs of use by age. Its still a industrial piece and doenst need be in perfect condition.

One of the top industrial designers of the 20th century in the Netherlands, Friso Kramer. With a lot of iconic designs for different well known Brands such as Ahrend/ De Circkel, Wilkhahn, Auping but also HAY brought back one of his most iconic designs.

In 1963 Kramer was one of the founders of design agency Total Design, which played a role in the rise of Dutch Design; an innovative design style with a touch of humour.

Friso Kramer's work has been the subject of several retrospective exhibitions in the Stedelijk Museum and Museum Boijmans van Beuningen in recent decades. He has also received various awards for his work, including the Piet Zwart Prize.
