Fragiel and transparant furniture is how Auping calls it. This table was part of a series of furniture pieces Wim Rietveld designed for Auping in 1955. The table we offer is one of the oldest versions because off the perforated black steel base. There are two different set of tables and this is the large side table version and not the nightstand. The table is in a compleet original conditon we didnt painted it over or changed anything. So there 'heavy' signs of use but nothing is broken. The black steel base has some scratches on the legs but no rust. The grey top has some craquele in the paint and some signs of use but nothing broken. This piece has character and is a good example of the vision of Wim Rietveld.
